On-Site Install - Stand-Alone Desktop/Notebook

Service Details
A service certificate is issued to the Customer that provides for the onsite unpacking, setup and configuration of a single Desktop or Notebook PC and those external peripherals such as a printer or scanner which were purchased along with the Desktop or Notebook from Harris Technology. Services performed include the configuration of Internet access and setting up an E-Mail account as per the Customer provided details. A person who is over 18 years of age must be in attendance at time of on-site service being performed

Orientation & Personal Assistance
Service includes a brief training on the features of the Desktop or Notebook, how to avoid viruses and how to perform a system restore/recovery.

The time allocated for the provision of the above services is 1Hr. However, if further assistance is required then the Customer may purchase certificates for additional hours from Harris Technology or as per the Terms and Conditions printed on the certificate.

A professional consultant is available to help the Customer set up their new PC such as Virus & Hacking Protection, Data Security, and operating system optimisation.

Warning: Harris Technology is not responsible for any loss of Customer data. Customers should be aware that repair, maintenance, configuration and installation processes may damage data stored on their computer. Harris Technology therefore strongly recommends that Customers create back up copies on external storage media of any important data stored on their computer on storage before any work commences. Harris Technology does not guarantee the security of any data stored on a Customers computer at the time of service. It is a condition of the provision of the services that the Customer forever release Harris Technology from any claim or related liability arising from any loss of data stored on their computer.
