On-Site Install - Networked Desktop/Notebook

Service Details
A service certificate is issued to the Customer that provides for a service consultant to unpack, setup and configure one Desktop or Notebook PC so that the Desktop or Notebook can successfully access the resources of the existing network. The service includes configuration of Internet Access and an E-Mail Account provided the customer has the necessary configuration details.

The time allocated for the provision of the above services is 1Hr. However, if further assistance is required then the Customer may purchase certificates for additional hours from Harris Technology or as per the Terms and Conditions printed on the certificate.

Customer is to ensure that a responsible person over the age of 18 will be in attendance on-site whilst the service is performed.

Orientation & Personal Assistance
Once the installation has been completed, and subject to time availability, the consultant will demonstrate the PC's functionality by stepping through the manufacturer's manual generating samples and/or examples of the products operations. They will also briefly cover the various 'troubleshooting' options available either through the manufacturer's manual, website (internet access required) or Help Desk, and the steps required to make a warranty claim in the event of a breakdown.

Warning: Harris Technology is not responsible for any loss of Customer data. Customers should be aware that repair, maintenance, configuration and installation processes may damage data stored on their computer. Harris Technology therefore strongly recommends that Customers create back up copies on external storage media of any important data stored on their computer on storage before any work commences. Harris Technology does not guarantee the security of any data stored on a Customers computer at the time of service. It is a condition of the provision of the services that the Customer forever release Harris Technology from any claim or related liability arising from any loss of data stored on their computer.
