On-Site Install - Application Software

Service Details
A service certificate is issued to the Customer that provides for a services consultant to check the Customers current system setup and it's capabilities prior to installing Microsoft office suite, Symantec or Trend Micro software. The service consultant will then load the software, carry out any required registrations or activations and create a shortcut on your desktop if necessary. Customer is to ensure that a responsible person over the age of 18 will be in attendance on-site whilst the service is performed.

The time allocated for the provision of the above services is 1Hr. However, if further assistance is required then the Customer may purchase certificates for additional hours from Harris Technology or as per the Terms and Conditions printed on the certificate

Important Note: This service covers the installation and setup of a single application on a single PC and is not applicable to networks.

Orientation & Personal Assistance
Once the software is installed, and subject to time availability, the service consultant will demonstrate it's functionality by stepping you through the main features of the software and also show the Customer how to use the various 'Help' and tutorial programs accompanying the product if they are applicable and finally show how to keep the software up to date by visiting the manufacturer's website and downloading any 'patches' or updates if they are available. (Internet connection necessary).

Warning: Harris Technology is not responsible for any loss of Customer data. Customers should be aware that repair, maintenance, configuration and installation processes may damage data stored on their computer. Harris Technology therefore strongly recommends that Customers create back up copies on external storage media of any important data stored on their computer on storage before any work commences. Harris Technology does not guarantee the security of any data stored on a Customers computer at the time of service. It is a condition of the provision of the services that the Customer forever release Harris Technology from any claim or related liability arising from any loss of data stored on their computer
