The Fujitsu fi-7260 is a desktop A4 document scanner, featuring an 80 page ADF and a high speed A4 flatbed. It replaces the Fujitsu fi-6230Z scanner. Fujitsu's fi-7260 ADF scanning speed is rated at 60ppm or 120ipm in duplex mode.

The fi-7260 also offers versatile paper handling, including the ability to scan mixed documents, small cards or extra long documents. It includes PaperStream IP which features advanced image processing at Twain/ISIS driver level, and the PaperStream Capture application. The fi-7260 features a very fast built-in flatbed module that enables the scanning of diverse documents types such as bound, stapled or delicate documents.

Featuring a high capacity hopper tray, these scanners allow for loading document batches containing up to 80 sheets at a time - and allowing for the continuous feeding of additional documents whilst scanning. A liquid crystal display (LCD) is included in the operator panel to display the number of sheets scanned, and error status.

Users can easily select and initiate predefined scanning profiles. The Fujitsu fi-7260 is equipped with a "Skew Reducer" to maintain the straight alignment of paper feeding. For mixed batches of documents containing small or thin paper sheets, this function reduces the physical skew of documents throughout the paper path.

Even the most untidy batches are given special treatment sheet-by-sheet, which ensures total coverage for every scan. This reduces lost data on the edges or in the corners and saves time with no more rescans required.
